The S22 worked faultlessly until recently when the photo capabilities started to fog up on distance pictures . Am enjoying the S26 bluetooth connectivity and phone sound clarity immensely.

The thing that stood out to me most is the feel in the hand — it's lighter than I expected for a phone this size, and the weight is balanced so nicely that it never feels top-heavy or awkward during long use. The build quality feels premium, and it's comfortable to hold for extended stretches, whether I'm reading, scrolling, or on a call. Overall it just feels good to use every day, and that's exactly what I want from a phone I carry everywhere. Would happily recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S26+, expecting it to be a significant upgrade from my four-year-old Galaxy S23 Ultra. Unfortunately, after finally unboxing and trying the phone, I am extremely disappointed. The biggest issue for me is the camera. The camera quality and specifications feel noticeably worse than my S23 Ultra, which is surprising given that the S23 Ultra is several generations old. I expected a new and expensive flagship-level Samsung phone to at least match, if not improve upon, the experience of my old device. Instead, it genuinely feels like I have downgraded. The S26+ is slightly smaller and thinner, which some people may prefer, but personally this does not compensate for the loss in camera capability and overall premium feel compared with the Ultra. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I purchased the phone around a month ago but only unboxed and started using it today. I am therefore now outside Samsung's 14-day change-of-mind period, despite the phone effectively being brand new and only just activated. Had I been able to properly compare it with my S23 Ultra within that period, I would absolutely have returned it and purchased the S26 Ultra instead. I have been very happy with Samsung phones previously, which is why I was comfortable spending a significant amount of money on another Galaxy device. At this price point, I did not expect a four-year-old phone to outperform my new one in one of the areas that matters most to me. I really regret choosing the S26+ rather than the S26 Ultra, and I am now left unsure what to do with an expensive phone that I have only just started using but already know isn't right for me.
