For the last decade, watching a movie in our living room required the tactical precision of a bomb squad. My glasses had to be perfectly wiped, my chair had to be exactly four feet from the screen, and my hearing aids were turned up so high I could hear my neighbour's cat changing its mind in the next house over. Not anymore. With this new 65-inch beast, the glasses are officially OFF. The picture is so crisp, bright, and staggeringly massive that I can see the individual pores on a football player's face from the kitchen. I'm pretty sure the local airport is using my living room as a backup runway flare. And the soundbar - S-Series All-in-one Soundbar HW-S60D with 5.0ch? Hearing aids: DEACTIVATED. Turned them straight off. The bass from this thing doesn’t just enter your ears; it rattles your fillings and rearranges your internal organs. I watched an action movie last night and felt the explosions in my shins. For the first time in years, I can actually understand the whispered dialogue in gritty dramas without needing subtitles or blasting the volume to maximum. Even the remote control is a hyperactive masterpiece. Our old TV remote required a literal prayer ritual, a hard point-and-shoot aim, and a thumb wrestling match just to change the channel. This new remote is so lightning-fast and responsive that if I even blink near the directional pad, it has already skipped three episodes of my show. It responds faster than my own reflexes. Hubby says it’s "too big for the room", but I can't hear them over the glorious, cinematic rumble of my new setup. The only downside is that my adult children—who already refuse to move out of home—have now permanently barricaded themselves in the lounge room like squatters, meaning I have to physically fight off my own offspring just to watch my KDramas.10/10.

The TV has beautiful colours and the picture is extremely clear. The only down side is the tiny remote, its half the size of any other TV we've had.
