I initially bought it for music but it also links seamlessly to my VAIO using the NFC and is really useful to boost the laptop speakers.SRS-BT5I bought the SRS-BTV5 wireless speaker couple of weeks ago and the moment i connected it with my phone{iPhone 5} it delivered a clear,crisp and consistent sound all around the room.This tiny speaker is very capable of delivering awesome sound quality as well handling calls over BT/NFC which other speakers are not.The In-built rechargeable battery,mic,led indicators and even a 3.5mm plug makes it more reliable and useful in various conditions.Modestly,quality wise it's superb not like cheap plastics and design of the speaker is very attractive.According,to it's size,performance and the ease of use,all of them makes this speaker exceptional and I would really recommend it.I appreciate SONY for its innovative design and wish them success from the depth of my heart.KEEP IT UP SONY:-)SRS-X1 is betterI have the two (SRS-Btv5 and SRS-X1) The SRS-X1 had a quality better of sound and better duration of the battery.Legendary service
