Love the design and the quietness
I have never been told about schweigen before until one of my friends had mentioned Schweighen should consider promoting their products because it is unbelievable what a difference it makes compared to ordinary rangehoods. It is absolutely game changer, it does not give us headache, we can enjoy family conversations while cooking. Performance is excellent you can't smell anything in the kitchen or in other rooms. Schweigen please promote your products in outlet stores as many don't know such incredible product exists.

    Quite as a church mouse
We have had this silent range hood for 5 years. Might cost a bit more but you are buying quality. It's well engineered with an external motor & a great stainless finish which is easy to clean. No steam or odours go outside the hood. When you have the range hood on the fastest speed there is little fan noise. The best range hood I've ever had in the kitchen.

    Too quiet?
We have had our Schwiegen extractor for 4 years now, and love it. It is so quiet that we often forget that it is on (perhaps update the software to time out after an hour or so?). We did notice once that it was not drawing exhaust, only to find that some creature in our roof had eaten the ducting to the fan! Easily replaced and no problems since.
