So got very lucky and given one of these brilliant watches again. It’s been 8hrs in and I’m finding my love for these again. My one question is if someone can help. Last time I had one of these there seemed to be so many more apps out for it. I’ve downloded the galaxy wearable app onto my old s5 and can’t find half the apps I use to be able to use? Ie Yelp, geargram?. Have apps been removed now or am I using the wrong app manager for the gear s? Tia

Completely independent from phone, makes phone calls and texts.This is what I expected from a watch. Could have been better with few more productive applications specifically notes, organizer etc

High build quality. Stunning vivid AMOLED display. The call forwarding feature is superb; you'll never miss a call, text or notification if you forget your phone. I Love the fact the watch has it's own SIM; so if your phone doesn't have call forwarding switched on, you'll always be reachable via the Gear S' own telephone number. Personally I think this device is better than the Gear S2 having the bigger display, it's own SIM card and the easy to use keyboard. I do wish that the Gear S was more functional with all apps instead of having to purchse the Gear Notifier Extender app to reply fully to certain messages on certain apps. To conclude, I love my Gear S smart watch! Looking forward to purchasing more straps. Another Tizen OS update to add more features and improve functionality with apps would be greatly appreciated! Or you could send me a Gear S2 for Christmas to compare and write a review ;-)
