    Sleek Design Meets Unmatched Convenience
    Have had this product for about 2 weeks now. The water from this Aquaporin Water Station is just next level. I used to think water was just water, but this thing proved me wrong. I'm never going back to tap water. The convenience of having both boiling and ice-cold water instantly available is a significant time-saver. A true essential for any household!

    Difficult to install and took hours
    Please note I am a Chartered Engineer well qualified to respond. The documentation provided is completely inadequate. It does not provide clear instructions on Installation or Operation. Decoding the installation instructions (and operating) took hours of trial and error to get the unit working. PHILIPS SHOULD REVIEW THE PROVIDED MANUALS to make them logical and useable for normal people and perhaps have a full Install and Operation Video. It is working now OK but I am concerned with the structural design. A full load of Tap Water is VERY HEAVY - in excess of 6Kg. The TWC handle is black plastic and seems inadequate and needs improvement. The full water container is tricky to align, as is its cover. I wonder when I will be forced to contact Philips with some warranty issues due to the somewhat fragile design.

    Didn’t meet filtration expectations for the price
    We bought this unit with the expectation that it would deliver flavourless water. It did improve the overall taste of the water, but not to the level we were expecting. The water still had a plastic-like flavour to it, despite us having correctly followed the setup instructions and having regularly used it for over a month. We had actually intended to purchase the model that also chilled water. We didn’t realise that by selecting “black” from the colour list, this would also change the model to one that doesn’t chill the water. I feel that the Philips website shouldn’t have shown black as an option for the model we were wanting. However, this wasn’t a big deal as this model comes with two jugs, and it’s easy enough to fill one and fridge it to have chilled water on hand. Being able to select the amount of water dispensed (in roughly 50mL intervals) was very convenient. The touch panel only “registers” presses when releasing your finger, though—not when pressing it—which was weird and at times a little frustrating. The boiling function worked excellently and enabled us to put the electric kettle away. Having to refill the giant tank at the back every day was somewhat unwieldy and frustrating—we would have preferred an option to connect directly to the water mains—but the carousel built into the base at least made this a little easier. Had the output water quality been excellent, we could have lived with the other drawbacks. Unfortunately, the plastic and still-slightly-chemical taste of the output water was a dealbreaker for us.
