Very expensive Iron with very little to offer, too much plastic, cannot see to fill water tank due to tint of plastic, gone back to a 3m cord (too long, trip hazard). After 33 years of Philips Iron's and no other make, this is the worst it is expensive cheap tack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, I want to say this is a beautifully designed product with curves that look elegant and modern. The colour, a dark blue, is nice and neutral. PROS + GREAT at getting tough creases out on high steam setting. I iron a lot of my husband's shirts and it has been fantastic! + I love the fact that the filling door opens sideways. It gives more space to pour the water which avoids spills! + Easy to use as the iron plate glides over clothes easily. In addition the pointed top allows you to get into those hard-to-iron corners. + Multiple setting options from high steam, medium steam, eco to no steam. Giving you numerous options if you want to iron delicate items on a lower steam setting. + Dial with settings are large and easy to read. + The spray function gives an even and thin spray which is amazing! It doesn't drench the item of clothing. + The weight of the iron is not too heavy, but it isn't extremely light either. It's just enough to allow you iron for a good few hours without straining your wrist. CONS - I wish the cable that plugs into the mains was just a little bit longer so that I can move further away from the main plug if I want to. Can be easily combated by using an extension lead if your main socket is far from your ironing area. Overall really amazing iron!
