Read Customer reviews and understand limitations regarding temperature control and manual operation. Would have been useful to have recipe booklet and more cooking tips included. Users will need to gain experience in using induction method of cooking.

Sure the controls are a touch annoying, but if you use it on manual its not hard to figure out. Where this appliance completely falls over is in doing its primary job of heating things up. Even on half strength this thing WILL turn off in the middle of cooking to cool down. You have maybe 3 - 4 minutes of cook time before it decides it needs a rest. It cant even cook a couple of rashers of bacon at half temperature (1200W) without a couple of cool down breaks. Unimpressed doesn't even begin to describe how I find this product. I am sitting here writing this review while half cooked eggs sit in a pan while it cools down. Unbelievable.... will be going in the trash and I will be getting a different cooker.

I have used this appliance for 6 months. As others have stated, the operation of the unit was frustrating and the manual was anything but intuitive. After dechiphering the user manual the initial frustration turned to disappointment. The appliance was unable to maintain a slow simmer. The on/off cycling on the 100-800w settings is annoying. Why is there such disparity in temps from 100w to 1200w? Why not add a 600w & 1000w setting which would provide more even temp control? Why not have a "MANUAL" setting to provide the user with total temp control?
