    Overview

The Miele T1 Series 8kg Heat Pump Dryer with AddLoad combines energy-efficient drying performance with advanced fabric care, making it an ideal solution for modern households. Utilising heat pump technology, it dries clothing at lower temperatures to help protect fibres from unnecessary wear while significantly reducing energy consumption. With an 8kg capacity, it comfortably accommodates the laundry needs of small to medium-sized families, while intelligent moisture sensors continuously monitor each load and automatically adjust drying times to achieve consistent, even results. This precision drying helps prevent overdrying, preserving the softness, appearance, and longevity of garments.

Designed for convenience and flexibility, the AddLoad function allows forgotten items to be added after the drying cycle has already started, helping avoid unnecessary rewashing or additional drying cycles. A selection of specialised programs provides tailored care for a variety of fabric types, from everyday clothing to more delicate garments, ensuring optimal treatment with every load. The intuitive controls make program selection simple and user-friendly, while Miele’s renowned commitment to quality and durability delivers reliable long-term performance. Finished in a clean, contemporary design, the T1 Series dryer integrates seamlessly into modern laundry spaces, offering an efficient and practical solution for everyday fabric care.
    FragranceDos fragrance system

Miele fragrance flacons perfume your laundry with your favourite scent during drying. The fragrances are produced by a family-run company in the south of France that has been creating perfumes since 1871.

    Heat Pump Efficiency

The advanced heat pump system dries clothes at lower temperatures, reducing energy usage while protecting fabrics. This method maintains garment integrity, minimizes wear, and provides consistent drying performance with improved overall efficiency.

    Precision Moisture Control

Intelligent sensors monitor moisture levels throughout each cycle to prevent overdrying. This ensures garments are evenly dried while maintaining softness, reducing fabric stress, and helping extend the lifespan of clothing.

    8kg Capacity Drum

The 8kg drum provides practical space for everyday laundry loads. It supports efficient drying for small to medium-sized households while maintaining consistent and reliable performance.

    Features
    • Generous 8kg capacity: Ideal for medium to large households, offering ample space for everyday laundry and bulky items.
    • Honeycomb drum design: Cushions garments in small air pockets for gentle drying, reduced creasing and making ironing easier.
    • Heat pump technology: Low-temperature drying protects delicate fabrics while saving energy and reducing running costs.
    • Pre-Ironing steam programme: Smooths out creases during drying, cutting ironing time by up to 50 percent.
    • Specialised drying programmes: Eco, Cottons, Minimum Iron, Delicates, Woollens Handcare, Shirts, Warm Air/Dryfresh, Pre-Ironing, Proofing, Bed Linen, Denim and Express.
    • Integrated condensed water drainage: all Miele heat-pump dryers feature integrated condensed water drainage with a hose tidy. As a result, you can pump out condensate into a sink or a siphon and save yourself the trouble of emptying the condensate container.
    • Fragrance Dos: With FragranceDos, you can scent your clothing however you like. The system provides space for one or two flacons (depending on the model) so that you can switch between your favourite fragrances quickly. You can choose from a variety of timeless fragrances and adjust the intensity of the fragrance to suit your preferences.
    • Safety functions: you can lock the appliance and prevent unintentional operation, e.g. by children. In an emergency, the safety switch-off is invaluable: the Miele oven will switch off automatically if the maximum operating time is exceeded.

Miele - My Default Brand to Buy
So.. this is my 10th Miele appliances I’ve purchased and again the brand has not disappointed. I’m very happy with this dryer and its 9-star energy rating, ease of operation and aesthetic finish. The appliances on-line delivery team were a pleasure to deal taking care of installation of my new machine and removal of the old one.

    Not thrilled
I bought this because I have other Miele appliances that I love, but not loving the dryer. Washing never seems to dry on first run through. Always takes two attempts with everything set to Cotton and Extra Dry. And I am careful not to overload machine. And sheets always in a tangled damp bundle. Very frustrating.

    Good unit
Easy to use, filters and water reservoir easy to access and drain. Bed Linen setting makes sure drum reverses so sheets are untangled. Would purchase again.

    Questions & answers

Currently Spartan electrical have this machine advertised as in stock for $1799. Can you beat this price? Brett · 2026-05-11
Hello Thank you for this product question. Miele Australia control the sale price nationally for their appliances, and when I checked Miele Head Office, they are quoting $1899.00 for this model. At the moment, no promotions are happening with this model. Miele handles all their items themself from warehousing and delivery; these are not stocked (warehoused) by any retailer. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Appliances Online Colin Jones, Appliances Online
Does this dryer require 10amps and does it plug into power point versus hard wired? Thanks Helen · 2026-05-04
