    Great looking fridge pity about the function!. I bought this fridge as it was large, had plenty of room and loved the Knock on Glass feature with the smaller door for every day items. However in reality its the most awkward and "waste of space" fridge l have EVER owned in 40 years! Firstly you have to open BOTH doors just to pull out one crisper drawer. Secondly the drawers are VERY deep however they only slide out half way so you have to reach right down the back! The crisper drawers are horrible and DON'T keep food fresh!. I have had fridges half the price that keep fresh fruit and veggies crisp for weeks. When l called support they told me to either vacuum seal OR put all food in ZipLoc bags! I have sadly had to do this, as lettuce, spring onions, broccoli, cauliflower etc are all limp next day if l don't. Then comes the freezer drawers. You once again need to open the doors FULLY and l MEAN TOTALLY...almost 2m wide to get the drawers out. once again they only pull out half way. Finally there is no organiser in the fridge. No bottle holder, area for cheeses etc. Now admittedly l didn't realise this until l got the fridge home. But there are no bottle hangers, no area for eggs, in such a HUGE fridge only 2 drawers, both crispers for fresh fruit & vegetables but no drawers for cheeses, cold meats etc. It's really the most unfuctional fridge so l had to go and buy containers/holders for all of the items. The only other issue which l originally saw as a positive is the depth. Being 900mm instead of the usual 600-700mm l thought would be a bonus. Sadly all that happens is either everything ends way up the back and forgotten about OR the back of the shelf is empty. I have had 2 door fridges for many years. Given we were renovating l thought l would get a big "luxury" fridge and spent double the money l normally have only to be extremely disappointed.

    The worst of the worst
    LG has faced numerous lawsuits, particularly in the United States, for faulty fridges, and they have also been sold in Australia. Please be aware of this before making a purchase. Although they offer a 10-year compressor warranty, they will not replace it even if it collapses within three years. LG will stipulate that you must comply with their installation methods, which means that all their marketing is misleading. You will need 10cm of space at the back, front, and around the fridge, which negates its slim design and will look unsightly in your home. The compartments are flimsy and break easily. This is the worst fridge I've ever owned, and it's already breaking again. Please exercise caution before buying

    Hi Joseph, fingerprint marks are more a problem on a shiny black surface - but if the fingers are oily/have food on them, it is going to leave a fingerprint mark on the fridge. The glass panel on the door may also attract fingerprint marks that need regular wiping. It should be less of a problem with the matte black, but would still need wiping as regularly as a stainless steel fridge door would. Kind regards, Adam from Appliances Online.
