[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an older version of this toaster that was completely satisfactory but started to toast unevenly after several years. Replaced it with this one which has the digital display. That is an additional convenience. The only comment is that this new version does not toast quite as much as the previous one. It toasts completely frozen sourdough on max. setting - the original did it on a bit less. No big deal - just an observation.

It toasts evenly on each side and has a gentle action, lowering the bread and raising it as toast a few minutes later. The digital display gives one an idea of how long it will be to complete and it beeps when finished. Ten or of ten for this gadget.
