I love my kitchen aid electric kettle very much. I loved this toaster the moment I lay my eyes on it. It started to disappoint me and my husband after 2 weeks we bought it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Element died after two years. Toasting results were becoming erratic for around six months before that - same setting would produce light or dark toast. Worked well until then.

This toaster was great for the first 6 months, but afterwards, found that It would then burn the toast irrespective of what setting the dial was at - so turn the dial to 1 and get a burnt toast like it was turned to 10
