    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this appliance about8 months ago. I have really been using it in the bedroom to clear neighbours cigarette smoke coming in. It sucks in smoke and changes settings appropriately. I have to leave it on manual 3 sometimes to get room clear too. it gets most of the smoke but it uses a lot of electricity on high settings.

    Hello Thank you for this product question. Yes, this can operate manually. This is designed to operate as pictured, not on its side. When looking at the user manual regarding the app, it just says: WiFi: The unit is equipped with a WiFi module, which enables remote control and access to many more features, including time-based tracking of your indoor air quality data. When the unit is connected to the home WiFi, this icon will light up. If the icon is blinking, it indicates a temporary loss of WiFi connectivity – please refer to the Electrolux App for more details.
